This is a poem that occurred to me suddenly one morning as I thought about some friends of mine who are just like Angels on earth. They help others when not asked. They have high morals and are giving.
I just realized this morning how wonderful they are so wrote this poem in honor of them. Earth angels they are.
Earth Angels

Earth Angels do exist,
But without a list.
They’re silent in their deeds,
Adept when there is need,
Earth Angels do not heed
A thank you or your feed.
Ego is not their goal,
It’s service of the old,
The lost and in the cold,
The young, without a voice,
The small, without a choice.
Earth Angels are among us
Over looked, but never sad,
For helping is their glad.
Salute all your earth angels!
One day in your own life,
They’ll lift you out of strife,
As wings were clipped,
When bloated ego missed.
Earth angels are our salve,
To help when we don’t have.
They’re our folks when we’re alone,
Our friend when we snubbed one,
Our help when we wished some.
Earth angels are inside,
Dormant until we cry.
If we only knew just how
To birth our angel now.
