(2)  FLU, VIRAL INFECTION, COMMON COLD.  Healing protocol for cold, flu, or viral infection.  This will shorten recovery to health or prevent you from getting sick as you feel something coming on.

I am a Certified Health Coach in addition to my mediumship skills.  All medical advice needs to be validated by a licensed medical professional, however, this is what I do.   I discovered this, seeking a way to stay healthy, after repeatedly getting sick.   After research I found medical professionals regularly do saline nasal and throat irrigation to keep themselves from catching viral infections from their patients.

Saline wash of nasal cavities and throat gargle.  I fill a small squeeze bottle with table salt and filtered water.  I spray up my nose and into my throat to gargle.  You can buy nasal saline washes at drug store or a Neti Pot.

As well, I take this Green Food Supplement.  More on this below.   8 capsules at a time each hour to two hours, until I feel my energy soar.  I actually take 8 in morning and 8 at night as a daily practice.  Helps with my entire health and immune system.  This winter I did not get sick.  I can feel my immune system working.  Amazing stuff.

Lomatium dissectum.  Sounds like something from Harry Potter, but seems to be a miracle herb from American Indians in southwestern regions of North America.  Here is an excerpt of one person’s review of this herb on Amazon.  I used it and it made me sicker.

Terry Thrun, “We have used lomatium for years to treat numerous health concerns including strep throat, colds, flus, stomach bugs, mouth sores, and infections. It has worked great every time.

We often use other natural products too, but this is one of the strongest we use and sometimes the only the one we use.. While others are often very sick for days or even weeks we seldom get sick and if we do get well very quickly and usually never have a full blown case of what is going around.

Lomatium has been very helpful in helping us stay well.”   This review was taken from HERE.  PS I tried it and it did not work for me, but I think I was suffering from Epstein Barr Virus (EBV).  For EBV use Monolaurin (can be found on Piping Rock, which is where I get mine).  For each virus you have to find the right herbal remedy.

Olive Leaf Extract.  This is mentioned in many references I read and is in many formulas.  I try to find avoid formulas and rather find one or two herbs to use alone or together that are the best of breed.  Here is a review from Amazon.com which explains more about a personal experience with this herb.

(3)  CANCER.

Wormwood, Herbal Chemo.   When I first searched for an herbal chemo I found nothing.  Then, all of a sudden, when I was researching something else, this herb came up.  The testimonial I have included here discusses how it can be used as herbal chemotherapy.

(4)  ECZEMA, ASTHMA. I researched what to do for Eczema for a friend.  Here are my conclusions.  I feel first video below is best overall solution.  I have heard as well juicing and/or taking juice powder products (Juice Festiv, Garden of Life RAW Organic Food capsules) might be helpful to detox the body with phytonutrients on a regular basis.  As well, I have read these supplements Omega 3, B Vitamin Complex and Vitamin D are supposed to be good for Eczema.

FENNEL SEED.  My mother died of lung cancer and had bronchitis for years before.  She used to eat Fennel, calling it finocchio (Italian name) when she was younger.  All of a sudden I got a message during a prolonged respiratory infection that was rapidly turning into bronchitis that I needed to take Fennel.

IMMUNE SYSTEM BOOST.  There are times when you are stressed, unrested and have been exposed to a virus, cold or flu.  Here is a protocol to follow.

(11)  ANXIETY HELP

ANXIETY HELP and AGING

ANXIETY HELP and AGING.  A friend came to me because he was suffering from more and more anxiety as he got older.  He was unable to deal with stress, he could not sleep at night and he felt a lot of social anxiety.

I used my medical intuitive abilities to research various aspects of his health which ultimately he needs to explore further with a licensed medical professional.  This is what I found.  Perhaps such findings can help you.

“Here are four ideas.  Let’s take a look at these to see where they go.  It might take a while trying different things before we get to solution.  It took me one full year to heal myself of recurring respiratory infections.  I finally found out it was mold in my air conditioning system.

Your anxiety is NOT purely psychological because it arrived with age.  I believe your anxiety is actually causing your sleep issues, your inability to compromise or handle any stress.

Possible ways to handle this.

1.  Look at your Glaucoma medication.  Most are beta blockers which can cause anxiety as side effect.

What I found out is beta blockers (prescribed for Glaucoma) can INCREASE anxiety.  Beta blockers ironically sometimes prescribed FOR anxiety can increase it.  Here is an article on this and holistic treatment protocol.

2.  Eat only whole real food.  The numerous additives in food can cause anxiety.  Since you are already proving a sensitivity to drugs, I think you might also be uniquely sensitive to all sorts of chemicals put in our food.  Green light foods (eat in unlimited quantity) are fruits and vegetables. Yellow light foods (moderate quantity) are dairy, fish, organic meat, oils, etc.  Red light foods (hardly ever) are sugars, refined carbs, processed, etc.

3. DHEA and anxiety disorder.  Another idea.  Maybe go to an endocrinologist?   DHEA has been linked to anxiety.  As we age this hormone depletes significantly in body.

I just lost 5 pounds that I did not even know I needed to lose.  Now I weigh less than when I was 15 years old!

I did this effortlessly with a mostly low fat vegetarian with a bit of fish.  You can eat anything you like but the emphasis must be on the mostly.  :)

3/4 of calories from fresh vegetables (some low glycemic fruits) in large unlimited quantities.  Plenty of water.

1/4 of calories is protein and complex carbohydrates:  beans, legumes complex carbohydrates such as whole wheat pasta, brown rice, sweet potatoes, nuts, seeds, legumes, some dairy, some eggs, some fish.

Low or no fat, oil, sugars, preservatives, processed foods, chemically treated foods.  (Food additives and toxins make you want to eat more.)

(14)  EPSTEIN BARR VIRUS/ MYSTERY ILLNESS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Lyme, Hashimoto’s, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.).  After many years of recurring upper respiratory infections, fatigue, body aches, trouble sleeping, depression I finally went to the doctor.  He found the antibodies to Epstein Barr Virus in my system. 

I had mononucleosis when I was 19 years old, so this was not a shock.

TREATMENT:  So finally knowing my fatigue, respiratory infections and body aches were caused by this I did a little research.

DISCOVERY:  The latest outbreak of this disease happened after I had gone vegetarian, almost vegan.  It seems that a way to combat or treat CFS/ME is with these amino acids: l-carnitine found in meat, fish, poultry and milk (wasn’t eating), alpha lipoic acid (ALA) only found in very small amounts of food, and n-acetyl-cycteine (NAC) not found in food (however cysteine is found in yogurt, fowl and other foods I was not eating).

I actually had a “feeling” to start eating yogurt to get my strength back.  As soon as I added this, chicken and and other animal proteins to my diet, my strength came back, almost instantly.  Please note these foods should be organic, grass fed.

Another discovery.  Your body only produces small amounts of ALA from food, so for optimal anti aging health you might want to consider supplementing with it.

Be careful with NAC as there is research supporting higher doses to be toxic to the body.  Most believe 500-600mg a day is tolerable, however, proceed at your own decision.

Steps to Healing Epstein Barr Virus (EBV).   Here is a protocol for fighting Epstein Barr Virus (EBV) in your system, and removing it over time.

1.  Open the virus coating.  Lauricidin or a quality Monolaurin supplement does this.

2.  Improve the immune system to kill off the Epstein Barr Virus, once the coating is opened.  See Immune System Support, item #7, on this page.

3.  Toxin removal.  Viral die off removal.  Once you begin to kill the EBV you will have to remove the dead virus remains from your system.  Die off symptoms can be as bad as having the virus itself.

Some ways to remove toxins include.

1.  Lymph Drainage Massage.  Should be done regularly.

2.  Body Flex/Stretch for Drainage. Yoga or something that allows the body to gently flex and stretch  tissue on a regular basis to help with the drainage, sort of like when we wring excess moisture out of a washcloth.  Must include lots of water before and after doing this.  This is in addition to massage.

3.  Sweating.  Hot yoga.  Dry hot sauna (hot yoga better).  Drinking lots of water beforehand.

8.  Eating as healthfully as I could.  Primary goal was to eat only whole food, plant based with some chicken and fish, nothing processed.
9.  Good Sleep and rest.  Now I sleep without supplements.
10.  Lower stress levels through choice, habits and meditation..
11.  Drink enough filtered water.
12.  Try to be happy, even when I am not.

17a.  Increase your omega-3 fats

17b.  Increase your intake of B vitamins.   People with either low blood levels of the B-vitamin folic acid, or high blood levels of the amino acid homocysteine (a sign that you are not getting enough B6, B12 or folic acid), are both more likely to be depressed and less likely to get a positive result from anti-depressant drugs. In a study comparing the effects of giving an SSRI with either a placebo or with folic acid, 61% of patients improved on the placebo combination but 93% improved with the addition of folic acid. But how does folic acid itself, a cheap vitamin with no side-effects, compare to anti-depressants?

17c.  Boost your serotonin with amino acids.  Serotonin is made in the body and brain from an amino acid called tryptophan. Tryptophan is then converted into another amino acid called 5-Hydroxy Tryptophan (5-HTP), which in turn is converted into the neurotransmitter serotonin. Tryptophan can be found in the diet; it’s in many protein rich foods such as meat, fish, beans and eggs. 5-HTP is found in high levels in the African Griffonia bean, but this bean is not a common feature of most people’s diet. Just not getting enough tryptophan is likely to make you depressed; people fed food deficient in tryptophan became rapidly depressed within hours.

17d.  Balance your blood sugar.  Up your intake of chromium. This mineral is vital for keeping your blood sugar level stable because insulin, which clears glucose from the blood, can’t work properly without it. In fact it turns out that just supplying proper levels of chromium to people with atypical depression can make a big difference.

17e.  Bring on the sunshine.  Vitamin D3.  Known as the ‘sunshine vitamin’, around 90% of our vitamin D is synthesised in our skin by the action of sunlight. Vitamin D deficiency is increasingly being recognised as a common problem around the globe and may be implicated in depression, particularly if you feel worse in winter.

17f.  Bad mood foods.   Avoid any chemicals, man made, not real food.  Concentrate on green vegetables.  Quick Summary is Traffic Light System.

Green GO!  75% of plate fill with green vegetables.
YelLOW!  25% of plate.  Includes grass fed omega 3 free range dairy, meat, fowl, wild fish especially salmon, complex starchy carbohydrates like brown rice and beans, coconut oil, olive oil, butter, natural fats and oils.  Fill 25% of plate with these types of foods, whole, natural, unprocessed.
Red NO!  ZERO!  Any processed foods, fried foods, sugars, white flour, simple carbs, processed fats and oils, etc.  Moderate alcohol to none.

(18)  HAIR LOSS MEN & WOMEN (ALAPECIA). 

Approach.  The best approach to reversing hair loss is stem cell therapy however, this is years away.  My favorite approach as of April 2016 is DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) blocking herbal supplements, combined with Biotin taken orally and applied topically.

Possible reasons for your hair loss can be due to a variety of reasons including genetics, hormone imbalance, iron deficiency, thyroid disease, etc.  Therefore it is best to get a complete medical exam to diagnose the cause of the hair loss before attempting to self diagnose and treat. How to block DHT.

1.  Take a prescription or herbal DHT blocker.  Prescription DHT blockers include names such as Propecia and Avodart.

2.  Take an herbal DHT blocker.  There are many available today.  The major herbal ingredients to block DHT are saw palmetto berries, Pumpkin Seed Extract, Nettle Leaf Powder, Soy, Zinc.  Biotin is a mild DHT blocker however it is associated with hair loss problems because deficiency in it will cause hair loss and is associated with growing hair back.  Here is a good herbal DHT blocker on Amazon.com.  There are many there so be sure to do your own due diligence.  Go HERE.

3.  Wash your hair with DHT blocker shampoo.  Go HERE.

4.  Women.  Balance your hormones, especially after menopause.  How to balance your hormones after menopause.

4a.  Go to a physician that does bioidentical HRT (BHRT) to receive a customized compound pharmaceutical exactly formulated to your body’s needs.

4b. Go to a physician that does herbal HRT and/or do it yourself (at your own risk, of course).  I take Pueraria Muraria, an herb from Thailand with phytoestrogens 1000 times more potent than Soy Isoflavones.  However, I have found for me I had to find the correct dosage and balance it with a natural progesterone of some sort.  Be careful of using PM, as a side effect on high doses of it is uterine bleeding.

4c.  Natural progesterone supplements.  Dr. John Lee, who wrote, “What Your Doctor Won’t Tell You About Menopause,” stated when he was alive, the most important hormone to take after menopause if needed (ie you have estrogen dominance symptoms) is progesterone compounded from wild yam. When I started using this cream with PM I felt really balanced.  I use NOW progesterone cream.  It is inexpensive and works for me.  Get it HERE.

Here is another physician who explains the technical ins and outs of this beneficial hormone, debunks warnings as to claims it causes cancer, etc.  I found her website and articles to be most helpful.  She consults with individuals in remote areas besides locally to her so you might be able to work with her on your own hormone balance issues if you do not have a doctor locally to you with which to work.  Dr. Helen Pensanti website is HERE.

4d.  However, my hair seemed to continue to fall out!  Other factors to consider in reversing or stopping hair loss include stress, diet, hair styling (I used a straightening iron), genetics, etc.

4e.  Hair loss is a complex issue not to be taken lightly.  I am now using an herbal DHT blocker and I am adding what is in the capsules into my shampoo so I treat the affected area locally besides internally.  This is the product I am now taking. Since I have just started taking it and it is one of the least expensive brands out there, I am not certain it will work.  Go HERE.

As well, I am taking Biotin.  Dosage can be anywhere from 5000 mcg to more per day.  You can add this to your shampoo as well, from the capsules, or buy a biotin, DHT blocking shampoo like this one HERE.  I have not tried this shampoo, but just wanted to provide as an example.
