MEDIUMSHIP: Fear of Having the Gift
I received this question from someone on Facebook. It is a very common question I get so thought I’d post the answer.
Question: A friend at work has visits in dreams from her dead uncle. Sometimes bad people come too but she prays. She doesn’t like being a medium so she prays to be left alone. A few days ago a friend from school who she hasn’t seen in 10+ years popped into her head. She googled his name and a picture pops up of his brother who died in September. She thinks shes crazy but I think hes trying to get a message to her. Shes scared to death. What can I tell her to help her rest a little easier?

My Answer: Hi XXXX, Just tell her it is a gift to see that life continues. Have her thank God she has the gift and ask how she can use it to help, serve and heal others. This is not something to be feared. It is something to be cherished.
The more she learns about it from reputable organizations the more she will understand this. I suggest she check out the website of Janet Nohavec who used to be a Catholic Nun and now serves with her mediumship gift to serve the public. She has founded her own spiritualist church as well.
