BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS:  The HERO

Yesterday I was doing a reading for a client.  She was trying to build a relationship with a new man in her life.

During our time together a funny idea was sent from spirit to her.

“Treat this man like a hero.  He needs to have something to strive for in his relationship with you.”

She had been doing all the work in the relationship to get it started.  The more she tried the less responsive he had been.  Each time she planned a lunch or dinner for him he would have an excuse as to why he could not see her.

This would happen at the last minute after she had done the grocery shopping and at times even after she had cooked the meal.

Now it is wonderful to cook for the object of your love, however, this man had done nothing for her.  He had not even taken her out on a date.

He liked her, yes, but he had not had a chance to express his energy in their connection yet.  She had jumped him to the finish line.

Spirit was trying to tell her to give him a chance to be a hero.  This would allow a better interaction with him.

Later that day, after another last minute cancellation, this man contacted her.  He said, ironically enough, he wanted to make this disappointment up to her by taking her out!

He said he would pick the place! 

My client was very happy and learned an important lesson about building a relationship.  She had to allow the man to have a chance to be a hero, to express his male energy.

Spirit Guides can you offer some relationship development advice to those on earth who seek love?

Yes.  We see love as an odd concept.  You each already have love, but you just don’t know it. 

If you could understand that you are love already, that you would not even exist if you were not love, then you would drop the entire Building a Relationship effort.

You would relax and be love now.

So our advice to you if you are trying to build a relationship is to know you are love already.  The more you do this the more you will allow each other, you and the one with which you desire a relationship, to be who you are.

You would already love yourself and that person in concept.

As you express love as something you have already you come together with peacefulness and effortlessness.

It is not difficult to build a relationship with another if you already know and act like you are love now.

You will not longer do all the work in the relationship to develop it.  You will relax into give and take.

You will no longer be upset if the relationship does not develop to something deeper.  You will be accepting of it as love in essence already either with you or someone else.

Love is not something you acquire or lose.  Love is you already.

When you allow another to be a hero, strive for something, you are encouraging them to express their ability to know and be love now.  This is why the hero concept works.

If you are doing all the work to build a relationship you are expressing the concept of ‘no love now.’  If you knew there is love everywhere and you are it now too, you would relax and allow the relationship to build of its own nature.

Relax.  Be love now.  Allow another to be a hero and yourself to be one too.

Love is not something you do all the work to create.  Love is something you discover as it unfolds.

It exists already.  You are just allowing it to shine in your life, to awaken and be expressed.
