When you ask if séances are safe you are assuming that the séance is a portal to another dimension that can harm you. It is. Yes, séances literally do open an energetic portal to another dimension, a dimension as real as where you sit here.
We mean that you are real in your dimension but in the other dimension, the dimension of spirit, you appear as abstract to the entities that reside there as we appear to you.
So a séance is real and yes it can harm you; if you do not know what you are doing, that is.
When a séance is conducted it must be done as if it is a genuine séance. That is, it must be done with care about the dimension you are opening.
You could open lower astral layers which house what you would call demons and aliens with malevolent intent.
Aliens from other worlds can live on the lower astral plane. So it is important through the right type of clarity of purpose to set an intention that the portal be safely managed by us, the spiritual guides.
We are the ones that control others from coming through that can be harmful. If you do not believe us try doing a séance without a portal manager. You will find all sorts of things can happen.

Anyway, I digress. A séance is safe if the person conducting it on earth is safe, grounded and guided by the light, good intention.
If the person managing the séance is not asking for protection and to work in the light, well then anything can happen, indeed.
When those on earth open doorways and gateways to other dimensions they sometimes do not use precaution. They think it is a game. It is not. This is very, very real.
So when you open your gateway to the other side use care, use prayer and use the light. Ask that the light work with you.
This is a universal protocol of protection which works quite nicely.
As well, ask your spiritual guides to work with you to moderate and control the event so it is a positive one.
When working with spirit ask spirit to protect you and you will find each event will be quite satisfactory.

Hi, my own take on seances is that there are more positive, friendly entities out there than some people would have you believe. The whole process is feared and demonized by people who don’t understand it, and if you go into it feeling that fear, then it surely puts you at risk. The way I look at it is an attempt at communication. Communication is to be an exchange of information. Information can cause harm or good. It helps to remain positive and calm. I agree you need to know what you are doing though.
