SOUL PURPOSE: SOUL to SOUL. Last night I was in the home of a “wealthy” person. His mansion had an under ground pool, an outdoor kitchen with grill, a private guest house, 15 foot ceilings, gold inlay kitchen counter tops, precious metal wallpaper, custom ceiling art, an original Yoko Ono of John Lennon, etc., etc.,
We drove to dinner in his Bentley, which smelled very sanitary inside. The detailing guy cleaned it for him every week in his four car garage.
SOUL PURPOSE: True Wealth
During dinner we discussed what I do for a living. I said to him, without thinking or fabrication, I touch the souls of others in my work. There is no greater feeling of wealth than this.
We locked eye to eye for just one second longer than a casual glance. He knew I was right.
After dinner I went back to my modest cottage in a lower income senior community. Everything looked so plain, but I felt happy inside as I kissed my cat.
SOUL PURPOSE: Living the Life Your Soul Planned For You.
I was living the life my soul planned for me, using my gifts and talents in service. Nothing could compare to that, not even gold in my kitchen counter tops.
