Spirit Communications to you or through me, a spirit medium, is not automatic just because a person has left his body. Think of the movie “Ghost.” Patrick Swayze had to learn how to move objects with his energy to communicate with Demi Moore. It is the same with visiting you in your dreams or even talking through a medium.
Not all spirit communications are equal and not all spirits communicate equally. Some souls come in so clearly it is like they are in the room with you. Some souls feel like they are disconnected dimensions away!
Some souls are able to speak using words, pictures, feelings, give large packets of information in one swoop. Some spirits communicate with just one or two of these methods.
The other day I brought in the father of a sitter. He did NOT want to come in. Why? Because he did not believe in psychic phenomenon while on earth as a leading dentist and inventor.
Bringing him in was like opening a tin can with my bare hands! It was awkward and difficult, but he did finally speak. He said he did not believe in spirit communications and did not approve of his daughter consulting a medium!
Spirit communications depend on many factors. The vibrational match between you and the medium is another factor. As a psychic I have found clients that are open energetically, are easiest to read. The client is the antennae for the reading!
