MEDIUMSHIP DEVELOPMENT:  What to Do With a Blocked Client

No matter what the medium does or says during certain mediumship sessions the sitter seems to challenge what is said.  The medium could be highly skilled, with a great track record, but yet this particular session is failing.

Although blocked client sessions are usually now shown on a mediumship television show, much can be gained by watching a skilled medium go about doing her work.  Here is a fun show about the Long Island Medium, currently popular.

MEDIUMSHIP DEVELOPMENT:  Expectations Can Block A Client

The best way for an experienced medium to handle a blocked client is to remove expectations as best you can BEFORE their session.  Today with mediumship television shows or simply just not knowing, a client can come for a session with a poor idea of what to expect.

They might expect the medium to start off with everything correct right away.

Usually a session will develop or build in accuracy.  The medium may get a feeling or a vision, a few things wrong and then through a refinement process before hooking into the energy of the departed loved one with great accuracy following.

SOLUTION:  Educate the client with as much material you can provide as possible about what readings are like.  I provide videos of me doing actual readings during my radio show so they can get a “feel” to what this is like.  These videos are on right side bar of this website.

EXPECTATIONS CAN BLOCK MESSAGES.  I had one client want me to provide her something she expected or wanted to hear within the first five minutes of her session.  The more the seconds ticked by without this, the less she recognized what did come through and her session degraded further after that.

So if you are doing mediumship or going to have a mediumship session it is advisable to be as informed about how this works as possible.

Some recommendations.

1. Be open and give spirit and the medium a chance to connect.  Don’t expect a particular piece of evidence right away or even at all.

2. Listen to what is provided.  At times a sitter will want one person only, one piece of information only.  This causes a problem and blocks the entire sitting.

MEDIUMSHIP DEVELOPMENT:  When a Sitter (One Getting Messages) Wants Only One Specific Soul or Piece of Information the connection weakens.

If your grandmother shows up instead of your husband, welcome her.  She is opening the connection, fine tuning it, so the next soul can come through.

The oldest souls in spirit have better facility to communicate generally.

When we welcome what does come through we are opening the channel and refining it to get better and more specific information.

SUMMARY:   If you are a medium prepare your clients to be as open as possible to what does come through.  If you are a client, be open to everything that does come through.

This will provide for you the best results.
